Americas Secret Recipes is simply amazing. I love this book! My husband used to hate my cooking. We went out to eat almost every night and wasted tons of money on expensive dinners at places like Red Lobster and Olive Garden. We tried to save money by eating at fast food restaurants, but I always wished I could make good food at home. One Christmas, my husband got me Americas Secret Recipes, and we haven’t eaten out since!

I tried all kinds of other cook books, but I had never found anything that really worked for me. It was so bad that my husband would take me out to dinner instead of having me cook. Eating out every single night cost us so much money, but my husband still preferred that to me making dinner. We must have spent over five hundred dollars every month at restaurants. I knew I could make food at home for a fraction of that price, but I just didn’t have the right tools. I’m definitely not a master chef, but Americas Secret Recipes lets me cook like one! Now, I cook dinner for my husband every night and he loves it. I enjoy taking pride in watching him eat the food I worked hard to make, and it’s even better because now, he enjoys eating it!

All of the recipes in this book are quick and easy to make, and they taste delicious. I had problems with other cook books because the instructions were complicated and hard to understand. Americas Secret Recipes is full of tasty meals with easy instructions that only take a little while to make! When my husband comes home from work, he’s tired and doesn’t feel like waiting a long time for me to make his food. With this cook book, I can quickly prepare meals like the ones we could buy at expensive restaurants.

For my husband’s birthday, I really wanted to surprise him. He absolutely loves eating at P.F. Chang’s, but the food there is too expensive for us to eat there a lot. Instead of going out to eat, I used Americas Secret Recipes to make a scrumptious dinner of Mongolian beef and shrimp dumplings, just like the ones you can get at P.F. Chang’s. My husband was thrilled to have such a delicious birthday meal, and it hardly cost us anything! The meal itself was good, but knowing that I did something to make my husband happy was more rewarding than anything else I could have asked for.
